  • About Elgin Impact is an 11 month program / season mirroring national organizations like ASA and USSSA. We operate from Aug 1 through July 31 each year. Our season is broken down into 3 major sessions: Fall, Winter, and Summer. During the Spring season, our 16U and 18U levels participate with the high school level while our 14U level will continue the Winter indoor program until weather permits. 14U will have an added Spring session.

Once tryouts are complete, we will have an kickoff parent/player/coaches meeting where we will all get to know each other and review what is expected and our code of conduct. We will go over any confirmed tournaments and gather information from each of you regarding your personal goals and objectives for the season. The season is approximately 47 weeks long with a break during the IHSA softball season which lasts approximately 12 weeks. It is broken down into Fall, Winter, Summer, and Spring for 14U Only
  • Achievements Our program launched in 2015 and we have steadily grown as a family oriented program located in Elgin IL. We have grown to 3 team overall represented by one team per level at 14,16,and 18. We have been able to secure our own indoor facility in West Dundee and have a great home field at the Elgin Sports Complex.
  • General Information Who are we?
Elgin Impact is a travel softball organization eager to help interested players continue to improve their skills year round through professional skills coaches, tournament participation and regular practices. We are a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization intended to serve our community. Our charitable purpose is to continue the training and experience for high school level fast pitch softball players with professional and volunteer instructors while supporting athletes in becoming or continuing as multi sport athletes.

    Our Objective:
The Elgin Impact objective is to implant firmly in our players the ideals of good sportsmanship, loyalty, hard-work, confidence and courage so that they may become hard-working and productive members of our community. Our not-for-profit organization plans to carry out these activities by providing a supervised program of competitive softball practices and games. Our primary activities will include regularly scheduled supervised team practices as well as frequent participation in competitive softball tournaments. We strive to form teams of girls who will be good teammates and friends to each other.

Our managers/coaches will implement individualized programs to educate and motivate each player while encouraging teamwork, community involvement, sportsmanship and fun through softball. Most importantly, our mangers/coaches bear in mind that the attainment of the exceptional athletic skill or the winning of games is secondary, and the molding of future women is of prime importance.

We believe that it is healthy to participate in other sports and activities in addition to our program. Our members are encouraged to explore other sports with complementary seasons, such as basketball, volleyball, dance, and cheerleading as much as practicable.

    Goals:
Continue the training and experience for the players through year round practices and higher level of competition in tournaments during the fall and summer.
Create a program that caters and promotes multi sport athletes
Provide affordable, continued professional instruction by providing skills coaches for fitness, hitting, pitching, and catching
